What a difference a day makes! Labor Day is over, kids
are back in school and the weather turned to
fall…overnight. The Women’s Showcase brochure hit
mailboxes this past weekend and the phone calls started
pouring in. To answer a few of the most commonly asked
questions…

everything…including all the celebrities.

8-11-08 The Women’s Showcase is exactly two
months from today. The phone lines are getting busier
with calls about exhibit registration and event tickets.
Exhibits are filling fast, but we are still accepting
registrations. We expect to sell out earlier than usual.
Tickets will be available online later this week.

Our team is having a fabulous time planning the stage schedules for this year. In addition to Christopher Hopkins (the Makeover Guy from Oprah), we will also be featuring the amazing musical talents of both Tonic Sol-fa and Robert Robinson (who you may have seen over the last decade while performing with Lorie Line)! Tonic Sol-fa will be launching a new CD in conjunction with their worldwide PBS special and Robert will be promoting his newest Hallmark release, "I Believe." Too, we are featuring both the Church Basement Ladies and Tim Gabrielson...both back by popular demand!

Many of you have seen him on Oprah and if you haven’t read his new book “Staging Your Comeback”, I highly recommend it. I always enjoy hearing the feedback from
sponsors, exhibitors and attendees of the Women's
Showcase. Recent surveys were filled with great ideas
and improvement opportunities. Our planning team is
already hard at work finding celebrity speakers and
presenters for our expanded Celebrity Stage and talking
